Timeline varies by treatment plan. A porcelain veneer makeover can be completed in as little as 2–4 weeks from consultation to final fitting. Where Invisalign® is included to correct alignment before cosmetic work begins, the overall plan may extend to 12–18 months.
Your dentist will provide a clear timeline at your consultation — including the number of appointments, their approximate duration, and the spacing between them.
Yes — and we consider this one of the most important parts of the process. We use a digital smile design technology to create a visual preview of your proposed outcome before any treatment begins.
For veneer-based makeovers, we also create a trial smile — temporary restorations that you can wear in your day-to-day life, see in real light, and provide feedback on before anything is permanently bonded. You should never have to imagine what your result will look like.
This depends on which treatments are included in your plan. Teeth whitening and composite bonding are typically comfortable with no anaesthetic required. Tooth preparation for porcelain veneers is carried out under local anaesthetic and should not cause pain.
